What I provide, and what I do not
I hold a clear frame, I ask precise questions, I set assignments, and I
hold you accountable for them. I close every session deliberately. I tell
you what I notice, including the parts you would rather I skipped.
I am a coach, and coaching is not therapy. When older material activates,
my job is to name it accurately and point you toward a licensed mental
health professional. I am not a crisis line, and I do not do ongoing
emotional processing between sessions. Where reporting back is part of
your training, I set the protocol and tell you what to report.
That boundary is the reason the coaching works. Integration is yours to
carry. I show you the pattern, hand you the tools, and hold you to using
them, and then you go and live it, which is the only place it becomes
real.
