Life coaching enquiries

Get in touch

Tell me what you are actually after. I read these myself.

Before you write

A good enquiry is specific. A vague one is hard to answer usefully, and I would rather give you a real reply than a polite one.

Tell me what is actually going on: the pattern you keep hitting, the thing you cannot account for, or the question you have not been able to ask anyone else. You do not need the right vocabulary for it. Working out the vocabulary is part of what the coaching does.

I read every enquiry myself and I reply to the ones I think I can help. If I am not the right person, I will say so and point you elsewhere rather than take you on.

Worth including

What is pulling at you

The desire, the pattern, or the question. Be as concrete as you can manage. Discretion is assumed on my end and I do not discuss clients.

What you have already tried

Classes, sessions, therapy, reading, or nothing at all. All of these are fine answers. Knowing where you are starting from saves us both a month.

How to reach you

A name I can use and a reply address you actually check. Tell me if there are times or channels that are not safe for you.

If you are in crisis

Life coaching is not therapy and it is not crisis support. If you are in acute distress or you are not safe right now, contact a licensed mental health professional or your local emergency service first. In the US you can call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

That is not a brush off. It is the difference between the two kinds of help, and getting the right one first is what makes the other one worth doing later.
